BasicServe.com Removal Guide:
 
Step 1. Uninstall BasicServe 1.0 build 111 and other BasicServe.com associated items from the Control Panel.

 

Windows XP: Go to Start> Control Panel> Add Remove programs> Select “BasicServe 1.0 build 111” and BasicServe.com associated items > Click on Remove.

 

Windows 7/Vista: Go to Start> Control panel> Uninstall a program/Programs and Features> Select “BasicServe 1.0 build 111” and BasicServe.com associated items > Click on Uninstall.
 

 
Step 2: Remove BasicServe.com from the default search provider list.

 

Internet Explorer: Go to Tools> Internet Options> On General tab, find the area named Search> Click Settings> Set your preferred search provider as default and remove BasicServe from the list.
 

 
Google Chrome: Click on the Wrench or 3-Bars icon> Settings> In Search section click Manage search engines…> Choose to set another preferred one as the default search engine by clicking Make default> Remove BasicServe(Default) from the list.
 

 
Mozilla Firefox: Type about:config into the address bar> Press Enter> Accept the Warning

Search for BasicServe in the search bar >Right click on each item and select Reset> Hit OK to apply the change.
 

 
Step 3: Remove BasicServe.com registry keys with Cloud System Booster.

 

1. Download Cloud System Booster by clicking the Download button below, and save the file to your desktop.

 

 

2. Install and launch Cloud System Booster> Click on the gear icon located on top right of the interface

 

 

3. Go to Settings> Boost> Cleaner> Privacy Clean> Manually check the option: ‘Internet Explorer Cookies‘,’Mozilla Firefox Cookies‘,’Google Chrome Cookies‘ (Other options such as registry clean, registry error fix and Opera caches are checked by default) > Hit Ok to return to main interface.

 

 

4. Click on BOOST button, and follow its instruction to clear all junks found.

      The cloud system booster is optional, but we highly recommend you use it to remove the cookies to prevent the issue come back again.

      You can take manual measure to remove browser cookies.

      Take Firefox for example, you can take following tips to delete the cookies:

      1. At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button, go over to the History menu (click on the Tools menu in Windows XP) and select Clear Recent History….

      2. Set Time range to clear to Everything.

      3. Click on the arrow next to Details to expand the list of history items.

      4. Select Cookies and make sure that other items you want to keep are not selected.

      5. Click Clear Now to clear the cookies and close the Clear Recent History window.

    For some reason, it’s URL is binded to my enter key somehow.Whenever I press enter when I am done typing, it comes up with its URL and searches what I typed.

    You are absolutely right! it has binded with my enter button too!, i have to use microsoft paint in order to frequently chat on fb etc, etc. It’s not good, we need a guru over here because this thing Isn’t going away!.
