How to remove Searchqu promptly (Removal Guide)

In order to uninstall Searchqu completely, you need to fix browser settings in your installs browsers one by one.Here we provide you a detailed guide to repair Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer.

Remove Searchqu toolbar in Mozilla Firefox

Step1: Open Mozilla Firefox

Step2: Navigate to Tools, select Add-ons

Step3: Select Extensions in the pop-up window.

Step4: Choose Searchqu Toolbar, Bandoo Media, iLivid, or whatever freeware or shareware related to Searqu was previously installed and click Disable. Then, click the Remove or Uninstall button.

 

Step5:Go to Tools, choose Options

Step6: Reset the startup homepage under the General tab.

Step7: Type: keyword.URL in the filter at the top, double click and remove searchqu.com, replace it with http://www.google.com.

Remove Searchqu toolbar on Internet Explorer

Step1: Open Internet Explorer

Step2: Go to Tools and click on Mange Add-ons

Step3: Choose Toolbars and Extensions

Step4: Disable everything associated with Searchqu: UrlHelper Class, Searchqu toolbar, Bandoo Media, iLivid, or any other freeware or sharware programs which were previously installed.

Step5: Choose Search providers. Choose ‘Bing’ search engine and make it your default search provider. Additionally, select ‘Web Search’, click ‘Disable suggestions’ to disable it.

Step6: Go to Tools and check Internet Options.

Step7: Select ‘General’ tab. Click ‘Use default’ or enter your own website such as google.com. Finally, click ‘OK’ to save the changes.

Uninstall Searchqu from Google Chrome

Step1: Open Google Chrome

Step2: Go to Wrench on the right top corner and select Options in the drop-down panel.

Step3: Choose Basic under Options, and change homepage to your preference such as Google.com, and then click on Manage search engines…

Step4: Click “” to remove Web Search from the list.

To make sure your computer get rid of it completely, you need to remove all related files and registry entries of Searchqu.

Step1: Show hidden files and folders. Go to Start menu→Control panelAppearance and PersonalizationFolder Optionsview tab→check Show hidden files, folders, and driversOK.

Step2: Press Windows+R to open Registry Editor. (Note: if it doesn’t work, go to Start menu→Run→type in regedit→OK)

Step3: Remove all related Registry entries:

Step5: Run Anvi Smart Defender(mentioned above) to give your pc a full scan and clean all leftovers.

Step6:Restart your computer.
