Recently, a lot of users send email to Anvisoft Technical Support and report the program YourFile Downloader. They complained that after they install the free program YourFile Downloader, their computer start to be crazy and they get two different toolbar on their computer. YourFile Downloader is claimed to enhance the download experience easier and quicker than ever. With YourFile Downloader, you do not have to spend your valuable time and energy for finding desired programs and get forwarded all across the internet as you can download it all. But you must not ignore the fact that YourFile Downloader is an ad-supported application. When you install the free program, you are supposed to install YourFile Downloader supported toolbars, such as Babylon toolbar.
However you can unselect the default option to complete the installation, but most of users are tricked to install the unwanted toolbar. They will have their home page and default search engine redirected to http://search.babylon.com/?affID=116774&tt=5112_7&babsrc=HP_ss&mntrId=38d4fa95000000000000000c29787e9b and browser gets hijacked.
Although YourFile Downloader and Babylon toolbar are non-malicious related, but it acts as malicious program by hijacker the browsers by changing the homepage and redirecting the search result and many users encounter this issue and find it hard to remove and thus suspect it’s virus that harms the computer. What’s more, four antivirus program include ESET-NOD32 detect YourFileDownloader.exe as a threat.
Installed YourFile Downloader and Babylon toolbar, the browser respond very slow, and the system or programs get error message constantly. If you have installed YourFile Downloader and Babylon toolbar, you are highly encouraged to uninstall and repair them as soon as possible with following instruction.
YourFile Downloader and Babylon Toolbar Removal Instruction:
Step1, Uninstall the program YourFile Downloader and related toolbar from your computer
Please go to the Start Menu. Select Control Panel → Add/Remove Programs.
If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7, select Control Panel → Uninstall a Program.
Search for YourFile Downloader program and related Toolbar in the list. Select the program and click Remove button. If you are using Windows Vista/7, click Uninstall up near the top of that window. As shown in following image, you should remove all the YourFile Downloader, Babylon Chrome Toolbar, Babylon Toolbar, and Browser Protect.
Note: You may have different toolbar installed on your commuter. If your browser is hijacked by other toolbar or search engines, you can take the same measure to repair.
Step2, Repair your browser. Although you have removed the program and toolbar from the control panel, you still need to repair your browser since the homepage and search engine can not be repaired automatically.
To remove search.babylon.com in Internet Explorer:
1), Open Internet Explorer. Go to Tools → Manage Add-ons,
2), Select Search Providers, First of all, choose Bing search engine or Google search engine and make it your default web search provider (Set as default).
3), Then select Search Results and click Remove to remove it,
4), Go to Tools → Internet Options. Select General tab and click Use default button or enter your own website, e.g. google.com instead of search.babylon.com. Click OK to save the changes. And that’s about it.

To remove search.babylon.com in Firefox:
1) Open Mozilla Firefox. Click on the magnifying glass search icon and select Manage Search Engines…
2) Choose Search Results from the list and click Remove to remove it. Click OK to save changes.
3) Go to Tools → Options. Under the General tab reset the startup homepage or change it to google.com, etc.
To remove search.babylon.com in Google Chrome:
1) Click on Customize and control Google Chrome icon and select Settings,
2) Choose Basic Options. Change Google Chrome homepage to google.com or any other and click the Manage search engines… button,
3) Select Google from the list and make it your default search engine;
4) Select Search Results from the list remove it by clicking the “X” mark to delete the search.babylon.com search engine.
